The title of today’s topic is: The Grateful for the Journey

We are all on a journey through this thing called life. There are many different roads we can take – both good and bad. 

It’s not always smooth sailing. There are always lots of twists and turns and bumps along the way. But that’s OK because it is through these trials and tribulations where we develop strength in our character. 

Life lessons are learned on every single journey we take. Some more important than others...

The value in these lessons are how we react and then apply them when we get to the next hurdle.  

We grow and develop new skills as we are exposed to those bumps in the road.  

We have to embrace these life lessons and be grateful for what they teach us because without them we would become complacent in our current status.

New challenges require us to be resourceful and keep us on our toes to stay on top of things and look for new ways to excel.  

When I think of the many obstacles and hurdles I’ve experienced over the last several years, I feel proud because I recognize my strength through perseverance. Being an e-commerce entrepreneur/Amazon seller comes with daily challenges. Many people quit instantly because they just can’t deal with the constant barrage of issues. 

If you want to survive, you must possess a positive attitude, expect and plan for future challenges so when they hit, you will be well-prepared and can push through them with ease. 

I’ve worked like a crazy woman these last 2 years. When I first started my e-com journey – I quickly felt defeat and desperation due to my lack of success. It was brutal. It came with some major soul-searching and re-evaluation of my goals and dreams.  

It also came with an unrelenting drive and determination that I would rise above these challenges and failures.  

I firmly believe if I had not gone through all these struggles initially, I would not be where I am today. It is because of my rocky start and my drive to succeed that I was forced to create a new process, one very different from the norm, by thinking outside the box and forging my own path.  

My daily grind is still filled with long hours and intense struggles, but instead of allowing them to get me down, I am energized by them. I embrace them. They fuel the fire deep inside my soul.  

I am currently expanding my business in many different directions so this upcoming year will be focused all around growth. I’m now confident that I can use all of my experiences to accomplish my new goals with unwavering drive and continued motivation. 

The long road to success has not been easy. The easy roads are usually not fulfilling or self-sustaining, regardless of what some YouTube guru’s may tell you. 

So my message to you is to embrace the roadblocks you encounter with enthusiasm. Learn from them. Be resilient. Attach each challenge relentlessly. 

Be grateful for the journey along the way!
